RE: GLXJ Summer Fest 2008 - July 19th

Out of the list, i can personally guarantee 5-7 MJ/XJ's showing up. If you have the money, i would take the trip to the Badlands cause you will not be disappointed. Also, you will "fit in" better with us because all of the trucks are around the same size.

I hope to see you there.

Well it appears work will FINALLY be slowing down some. I still need to get my MT's mounted up, but IF there are places to wheel the Jeep WITHOUT tearing anything up I should make this one. I've had my quad there but never the Jeep, so I have never been into the "trucks only" area.

Sorry to sound like a wuss, but it's a DD and I HAVE to be able to drive the thing to work Monday morning!

There are plenty of places you could go and stay out of damage. It pretty much just depends on what you want to try.

yeah dont worry about smashing it up. there will be a few "stockish" rigs hopefully coming along. the trucks only section is open to whatever you want to try. you dont have to follow the leader if you dont want to. i hope to meet up with you, kim

I was hopin for some feed back. And maybe some advice. Thanks.

If you only can make 1 GLXJ event a year the Summer Fest is the one to be at. We always have a great time, always have a decent turn out, and always meet new faces. If your considering attending any GLXJ event this year, the Summer Fest is the one to come to.

Just my penny and a half worth...

Thanks for the feed back guys. I dont think im gonna be going wheelin any time soon. I broke the front light bezel and put a huge dent in the passenger fender with a tree. So im gonna have to spend my wheeling money to fix it. The guy quoted me 95 not including the fender. Ill get some pix up if you guys wanna see the damage.

Your kidding right?evileye
If it is still running and drivable then you are just making excuses. What you expect you rig to stay pretty when you take it out?

Here is my fender from a few weeks back, I'll buff it out later.....

I cant afford to fix it and still go.  My driver side fender looks the same way as yours. Now the passenger side does to.

JeepcoMJ could you get me some pictures of the fender. I dont care what side the fender is for i need both. Thanks so much for the generous offer.

Thats nice guys. Put us bodymen out of work. I'll be going to MEXICO with my XJ. Will trade it in for one of them 4 legged little furry things. ps---Save a bodyman. Take it to a bodyshop.
