Firehawk, you have a CB radio? Or a FRS/GMRS walkie talkie?

I will likely eat lunch at the campground, but don't know when.

After what Wade said, and now you, I don't think the orange trail would be a wise decision. My MJ is a DD also, and it has to make a 400 mile trip home.

And Wade, sounds like a plan. How much power will you draw at night, though, as both myself and my coworker will have a space heater in the tent, assuming we can run two without tripping a breaker. It is a long and difficult process to talk yourself into getting out of a warm sleeping bag when the rest of your tent is around freezing...

I dont need the electricity cause we have a battery for the camper.  it just better so i dont have to worry about draining the battery.  the only thing i would need power for is lights so we should be fine.

kim, your not raining on anyones parade.  my truck is still kind of a dd, and i would hate to dent it up.  i think we will figure everything out when we get there.  also, i would REALLY like to leave at 10AM.  so that would mean maybe heading up to the office around 9:45 so we can wait in the line.  it was really long last weekend, plus they knocked out the back wall so it was even longer.

I'm bringing a bunch of kiln dried lumber. Mostly oak and poplar, but also some white pine, cherry and maple mixed in. I'm hoping it's enough for 2 nights, but any wood anyone can bring helps. I'm expecting my truck to be squatting noticably when fully packed.

Well, 1:30 came around and I figured I got my 40 hours in, time to go homesmile

I just loaded up my firewood, but ended up leaving all the spider infested wood since I didn't want spiders all over my tent and sleeping bag. That left only about half of what I have, or roughly 5 cubic feet. And since it is kiln dried it burns hot, bust also very fast. Might be enough for 1 night.

I probably won't be joining you guys for dinner, though, as I plan to be grilling chicked breast. Either that or pork chops.

Well if it hasn't been leaked out yet anyways, I'll make it official.

We unfortantly won't be making it to this event. We've had a VERY busy month with work, and have things that just are taking to much of our time. I just can't afford to take a weekend off to play with the Jeeps. I wish I could, but we've got to much going on. We've had other priorites that have taken just about every weekend and I can't afford to not work another one to try to get cought up.

So I've put Wade in charge. Please everyone respect him as you do me. I don't see any issues, but let it be known that I have put him in charge as he is one of the Chapter Chairmans.

Everyone enjoy themselves and have a safe and fun time. Be sure to take lots of pics and I will get them hosted as normal on our website as soon as you guys get them to me. We really wish we could join you, but it's just a very busy time of the year for us.

Thanks,

Adam Hanson
