GLXJ 3rd Annual Winter Fest - February 28th - Haspin Acres, Laurel IN

winterfest09_large.jpg

GLXJ is hosting it's 3nd Annual Winter Wheeling Fest on Satruday Feb. 28th at Haspin Acres in Laurel Indiana.

ALL JEEPS ARE WELCOME!!!

Admission to Haspin Acres is $15 per person. In addition, each person must make a one time purchase of a "Liability Waiver Card" for $1 that is good for 1 year from day purchased. Entry fee allows you to be at the park until 9am the next morning. You can visit Haspin Acres website at http://www.haspinacres.com

To enter the park you also must sign the waiver form. You can find it HERE.

Flags are not required, but if you want to run one your more than welcome to. Also PLEASE have some sort of recovery (either front tow hooks, or rear hitch). Also please bring a tow strap (no hooks, looped both ends).

We are planning on meeting at the gate/staging area at 10:00 AM.

If you plan on attending please let me know for sure so I can get a head count. I will also note that this is open to supporting members as well as non-supporting members. However thier will be several giveaways at this event of items for supporting members only. The giveaways are well worth your member fee's. Additionally, ANY JEEP's ARE ALLOWED TO WHEEL WITH US (even if not a XJ or MJ).

This event is made possible by our sponsors. Be sure to check them out 1st if your looking for a new product or service.

Hope to see you there!

Only the second half of the day.  The first half of the day everything was frozen.  The second half of the day everything started to defrost....

It looks like I am off this day, so I should be able to make it - don't think the wife has anything planned for me yet - lol.

If I get my taxes done in time to get my Aussie locker in time to have it installed before then,

Heck yeah I'll go.

But no more wheeling until I get my locker.

I am sure I want to go but we have a baby due fairly soon so I will have to see how that meshes with the timing. Not due until mid March but babies don't always know how to read calenders biggrin

I know I asked someone but also to double check, wheeling the chevy will be alright too right?

I have to request the day off.  Shouldn't be a problem.  We are having a meeting on Wensday so I will no for sure then.  The wife said that as long as she can plan it out ahead to get her homework done she would come too (her first time, hope Haspin doesn't defrost... haha).

Was talking to Nick yesterday and he said that he is going to try and make it.

Ann just got a new XJ. Her and her husband Mike said that they would really like to make it.

So there could be a good turn out just from the Ft. Wayne area.

Lets go wheeling!! Been a year, last time I broke the back window out.  Lets try not to do that again.  evileye

I don't see a problem with it, but I am not the boss around these parts.

The people that have problems with this site will be the ones that don't come....
