Company Review - JKS Manufacturing

Products I Run From JKS:
    - Quicker Disconnects 6"+
    - Rear Bar Pin Eliminators
    - Extended Sway Bar Brackets
    - LCA Miniskids

Well, this past weekend i went out offroading. I didnt tie up my sway bar disconnects very well, and needless to say the quicker disconnect fell down and got caught in between my steering and the axle. It destroyed the the bottom half of the disconnect.

I sent an email to JKS telling them exactly what happened. Making it very clear that it was my fault and in no way were they liable for my mistake. I called after I got out of class. And spoke with a the Tech manager (tim) i believe. He said he was actually sending out an email back to me as we spoke. He got me to the site that had the part number i needed replaced. And asked for my shipping address.

I gave it to him, and said here's my credit card number, for the 35 dollar replacement part. He said, "Oh dont worry about it, we have you covered". I had a credit card in hand, and he said not to worry about it.

That is customer service right there, and that is how they bring in more sales. I will definetly be doing more business with this company in the future. They make awesome products, and as evident through my situation are great people to deal with and stand behind their products 110%

Brendan,

Thank you for admitting what happened and taking responsibility as most would blame the product for faulty workmanship and demand a warranty replacement. Your honesty is a breath of fresh air and I would love to reward you for that. Please click on our Replacement Parts page and tell me which part number you need. As you have described it I believe you need part number 20FL (letter O). Please confirm and I will be happy to send that part to you for no charge.

Regards,

Jim Nollette

I went out wheeling this weekend, and bent my quicker disconnet (PN 2001). I bent the round attachment point for the disconnect that attaches to the axle end. I was wondering if it possible to buy just one disconnect from you. or even just the bottom half of a disconnect that i could just thread into the top half of the disconnect.

If this is possible just let me know.

Just so you know, the disconnect breaking was completely my fault. I did not secure the disconnect well enough and it fell down and got caught in between my OTK steering setup.

Hats off to you Brendan for being honest and taking responsibility for the mistake. I deal with dishonest customers on a far too often basis. It is refreshing to see someone step up. Your parents should be proud!

It just goes to show that honesty is ALWAYS the best policy!

I almost always give people breaks if they are honest with me.  Hate people lying.

I run their adjustable trackbar for up to 3.5" of lift, and it's a lot heavier than a stock part. Every so often it'll start to clunk a little in the steering, but hit it with a grease gun and all is well again.

I'm really happy with it and plan on buying from them again.
