I liked the cover article of the yellow XJ w/ the 502 chevy big block with the 14 bolt rear and 60 front rollin on 40's that sits about an inch lower than our XJ's with a 4.5" lift and 33's.

I liked about a year ago they had a yellow XJ with a roof that reminded me a lot of the current libby canvas roof. *drool*
But- seems odd how everyone is so divided on the intake manifolds, some like the 99+ version, but the magazine says it slightly hurt performance... hmmm... seems that the gentler curves would decrease turbulence and stuff.
I swear by my cut up airbox (the YJ intake tube with filter didn't work, I would need about 2" more hood clearance minimum) helped add about .5mpg to my XJ. I did that after the 2.5" exhaust with FM40 catback. Stock old cat. Original or not I'm not sure. It gets about what it should mpg wise compared to others with similar mods.
