3" Zone Offroad suspension lift on 2008 JK Rubi

Adam provided the amazing guidance for the right product for me.  Luke and Andy helped install in Andy's garage.  It took us about 6 hours, no problems.  The only minor holdup we had is you're supposed to use the rear sway bar links on the front, and the new provided sway bar links on the rear.  We started on the rear and "forgot" to read that part of the instructions.  So after the rear was done, and we were working on the front, we had to go back to the rear end and do a little more work.

*note* disconnecting the pitman arm from the steering drag link was not necessary.

*note* JK's have an ESP "electronic stability program" which will be triggered after the lift is installed.  The steering and alignment must be adjusted in order to turn it off.

Alignment done today.  Steering wheel adjusted also.  All dash lights turned off.  They said the trackbar was adjusted perfect already.  I need to turn my springs to slip in to a notch, but other than that, everything is done.

Did you have them tighten that track bar?  I don't know if you remember, but I couldn't get on it as much as I wanted to.

Looks really good flexed out.  biggrin

Yeah, they tightened everything up.  They said we did a great job with the installation, everything looked good.  I just need to rotate my springs to fall in to place.  They were all wearing Badlands t-shirts.  Good guys.

Seemed like a great group of guys in case anyone is looking for installation help.

JK unlimiteds are 'close enough' to a XJ. I consider them a 'child' of a wrangler and a XJ. I like the room, and the lack of a roof.
