I found one on c-list for $150, and after some online searching found that the general feeling over the performance chips were not very great (and I'm told they already have a pretty aggressive timing curve from the factory).
Well, in a 'hey it came up' kind of way, this has my interest now, and being different from the normal max hp tuners I figured I'd ask about it.
I'm pretty sure the gains posted are 'under ideal conditions' and may be the stats of the most responsive vehicle (likely some other manufacturer). Seller says it got 1-1.5mpg better on the dodge ram they had it on.
Sure a 360v8 is not a 242ci inline six, so results will vary, as does driving conditions, vehicle state of tune, etc. I'm trying to get the best fuel economy out of the lil Jeep as possible while being a decent 'road and trail' rig.
Getting to the point, has anyone tried this and if so, what have your experiences been?
Just a fyi ,my xj has a 3" lift, 31" bfg AT/kos, modified stock airbox and 2.5" exhaust. Thanks, Matt
