hey everyone i'm from the U.P. of MI and i owna 90 xj its pretty rough and i am planning on buying another xj thats a little better starting platform both of my prior xj were 90's and stock this time i want to go all out with it and am looking for some advice on what year and trim package is the best xj to go with or does it really matter are they all about the same?                      Also like i said i am trying to buy an xj right now so if anyone has one for sale i am willing to drive for the right deal get ahold of me

If your going to go "all out" the most important thing is the axel's and the TC. Next you need to decide if you want an auto or an manual. I wouldn't get anything unless it has the 4.0L in it. 2 door or 4 door, than pick if you like the newer body style or the older.

$$ always plays a key role in it as well. If you look good enough thier are deals out thier. We just picked up Rebecca's XJ, that was already lifted for a real good price. I just spent about 4-5 weeks looking though.
