Electronic Flasher for XJ's

So I converted to LED's in the rear. As much as I researched prior and took the extra measures with the LED's themselves and using the Drawtite box, my flashers are a no go.

So survey says I need an electronic flasher. I made a stop by Autozone on the way home and they said they don't carry one for my vehical (suprise suprise). I know that they are available, it's just where to find them.

Does anyone know where to get one from for my '89? I am looking for one that will just plug into the existing socket. I belive a company called "Grote" makes them, but I do not have a part number, nor do I know where to look to purchase.

Any help will be appricitive as to where to locate on to purchase at. I am not sure what mr. police man will say when I tell him my "flashers are out"... :nono:

So I wasn't happy with the answer I received from Autozone. So I decided to spend a few mins thier today and found that part number EL12 (2 prong) works fine. So for future reference anyone wanting to change to the LED's in the rear and needs an electronic flasher can use part number EL12 from Autozone.

how much was total LED conversion and did you take pics/writeup? I have a few projects and a big to-do list before I get to LED conversions on my Jeep but maybe next spring.

right now for Jeep: new-style intake manifold, electric fan swap (I'd rather not grind on stuff how they show at www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums ), replace burnt out bulbs in cluster, valve cover gasket, oil filter adapter leak o-ring replacemt, new speakers (rears are shot, fronts are tolerable but still suck), 2" bb.

other projects: 1974 AMC Javelin, 1977 Honda 550, other stuff.

With the backup lights, rear lights, and flashers, and all wiring/pigtails I have about 200 in the lights themselves. This is not including the custom quarter panels and tail light boxes.
