GLXJ Spring Wheeling Bash - May 26th/27th

GLXJ is hosting it's 2nd Annual Spring Wheeling Bash on Satruday May 26th and Sunday May 27th at Badlands Offroad Park in Attica Indiana.

ALL JEEPS ARE WELCOME!!!

 Admission to Badlands Offroad Park for the 2 day event is $30 per person; or $20 for just 1 day. They just changed thier hours; on Saturday you can now ride until 7:00PM, and than on Sunday you can ride untill 7:00PM. You can visit thier website at http://www.badlandsoffroad.com

 Flags ARE required; and can be purchased at the gate/office for $10. Also PLEASE have some sort of recovery (either front tow hooks, or rear hitch). Also please bring a tow strap (no hooks, looped both ends).

 If you plan on attending please let me know for sure so I can get a head count. I will also note that this is open to GLXJ supporting members as well as non-supporting members. However thier will be several giveaways at this event of items for supporting members only. The giveaways are well worth your member fee's. Additionally, ANY JEEP's ARE ALLOWED TO WHEEL WITH US (even if not a XJ or MJ).

We are planning on meeting at the gate/staging area at 10:00 AM.

This even is hosted by the kind folks at Rosem Design Studio (www.rosemdesign.com) as well as JPFreek Magazine (www.jpfreek.com). The first 20 parties to show up with us will receive a FREE JPFreek decal while supplies last. I should also add that photo's from this event will be sent to Frank at JPFreek with the possibility of a magazine spot!

I am making up some shirts for this event as well. They are available for $20 and must be purchased prior to the event if you want one. I will bring them the day of the event if paid for upfront. I will only be placing 1 order, so all orders need to be placed by May 11th. If you want one please reply to this post that you are going, with a t-shirt request and your size requested. I will than send you a PM with how to pay.

Here is the design. This is the front, it has our logo and sponsors on the back.

i am hoping i will be able to come i am coming to indiana on the 25th anyway to take my 2 stepkids to see their dad but the prob. is that everyone cant fit in my jeep (me my wife and 4 kids)so i'll have to take both vehicles (gas would kill me) or leave my 2 youngest girls home with my mom for a few days but i dont know how well that will go over so i'm working on it 

                           by the way is anyone planning on camping??

ouch ..come on now .......  you know i been wanting to hit badlands .... josh and i are  going over to cinnci and hang out with TS  this weekend  they are having a big  jeep show  you should come out ...  may is far enuff away  to think  about it ...will make deffent plans  closer to that date bleh

hey thanks for setting this up Adam.  if anyone wants to camp. there is a place down the road that we can camp at, let me know and i can set it up.. also we will mostly likely be wheeling with midwest xterra club. look forward to meeting people there.

Might be able to go.  Deff. will not be staying for two days though.  Can't loose a whole weekend.  Wait a minute, I might have a three day weekend that weekend!! biggrin  I will have to get back to you on this.  Maybe I will go for both days!biggrin

Well I usually spend one day shopping, doing erands, and packing for the next week.  So that leaves one day to not be busy... I guess that there is nothing better to do with that one day then go offroading biggrin, but it doesn't leave much room for down time.cry  Jeanette will be invited, and yes you did spell it right.  She would be very happy to see that; not many people do the first time.evileye

Well I'll throw my hat in too. My coworker/buddy is eager to get his WJ out finally. I have to say though OUR work schedule is up in the air at times, but as of now there is nothing stopping us. So most likely count on 2 more attending.

BTW, Ethan and I are going to Badlands this Saturday and ride our quads there. Can't wait to finally see what the Badlands is like.

I'm in. . . Maybe just saturday but deff. going to be there. I'll take a shirt too. I'll get to try my new tires out, And meet some of ya'll. Can't wait!
