i'm looking for something cheap, and not in running condition.. i need driveline parts, so preferrably something with an ax-5, np231, and chrysler 8.25... as much of a headache as it would be replacing some of my driveline will probably be cheaper in the long run for me than buying new, so yeah.. lmk!
(or if you know of anyone that might have something i could use)
i get some really bad vibes, and lots of gear/bearing whine and flutter..

I have got an 88 4 door that i would sell. I already sold the t-case out of it but it has the motor, axles, body. It has 2 trannys with it. I was told one was bad and that one was good. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks. Ben

I know that it is a stick but will look at it this weekend. It has got the 35 in the rear and yes i do have the driveshafts for it. I am still learning about the jeeps so bear with me.

i have an ax5, a np231, a np 207. i sold my 8.25 already. the ax5 has 190k on it, shifted fine when i took it out, the np207 also has 190k on it, the np231 is a 23 spline input version and is of unknown condition, i got it out of the truck. shifts fine from 2-4low and feels smooth when spinning the input. if you're intrested in any of it let me know. located in indianapolis.

I have a 94 XJ 4.0 auto with 60k on a Mopar reman long block, 140,000 on the driveline. I'm keeping the 242 case front driveshaft and shifter but have a 231 case I could put in.
It has a 8.25 with 3.55 gears and a trac-loc. The radiator just failed days ago. I could swap in my 95's radiator so you could drive it away. I'm upgrading the 95's radiator anyway.
Rear shaft has a YJ yoke. It was my daily driver until last week. It is rusty. I do plan on swapping some parts with my '95 still.
It would make a great swap and I'll make you a good deal on it.

ok sorry it took so long, my desiel has had problems all week and had to take it to the shop. the driveshaft front center of the u joint caps is 35.5", the overall including slip yoke is 41.5". it has all brand new u joints and new sleeve, it was rebuilt by a buddy at powertrain on the eastside of indinapolis and it was driven from ONLY from indy to lafayette. i blew the headgasket in lafayette and trailered it back to indy and stripped the jeep. $80
