GLXJ is hosting it's 2nd Annual FALL CRAWL on Satruday October 27th and Sunday October 28th at Badlands Offroad Park in Attica Indiana.

ALL JEEPS ARE WELCOME!!!

 Admission to Badlands Offroad Park for the 2 day event is $30 per person; or $20 for just 1 day. They just changed their hours; on Saturday you can now ride until 7:00PM, and then on Sunday you can ride untill 7:00PM. You can visit their website at http://www.badlandsoffroad.com fpr more information on the park.

 Flags ARE required; and can be purchased at the gate/office for $10. Also PLEASE have some sort of recovery (either front tow hooks, or rear hitch). Also please bring a tow strap (no hooks, looped both ends).

For those staying both days (or don't want to drive home Sat. night) we will be camping at the campground by the entrance to the park. If you are planning on camping please let me know as I am going to try to reserve enough spots for everyone prior.

 If you plan on attending please let me know for sure so I can get a head count. I will also note that this is open to GLXJ supporting members as well as non-supporting members. However there will be several giveaways at this event of items for supporting members only. The giveaways are well worth your member fees. Additionally, ANY JEEP's ARE ALLOWED TO WHEEL WITH US (even if not a XJ or MJ).

We plan on meeting at the gate/staging area at 10:00AM. We meet at the bottom of the hill in the parking lot across from the pond.

I think we need to add a few things to the events! like a register book or the sorts of guys that we are wheeling with. A few contests, such as flex,up that hill that kinda thing.

I definitely like the idea of contests!  A little competition is always okay biggrin.

Please expand on your "register book" idea.  Sorry, I am just a little confused...weirdface

having a few competitions would be a good idea.

i also plan on being there. and maybe wheel 2 days this time.

Well since we know thier is an RTI ramp there now (well some of us know)...

Do you guys want to do that as a "competition"? What else?

I like the RTI ramp idea.

Lazarus also mentioned "up that hill" (?) which I would assume would be a contest of who could climb a particular hill fastest. (?) I guess we would time it.

We could have "biggest dust storm"... Oh, wait, I know who would win that biggrin.gif

If I think of anything else I will post it up...

I am currently in negotiations with my wife for us to go and bail on a Halloween party. I video from the summer trip helped a lot, good work on that by the way!

Oh, who wants to go to a Halloween party? We can bob for apples at the camp site if she wants! We'll even let her wear her costume!

Tell her that there will be several ladies there. At least... unless they all back out on me!

As long as I am not scheduled to work, won't know for a while, there is a 50/50 chance.  If I'm not, me and Jeanette will be there.biggrin  Maybe she will even want to drive!!

I may attend, that's a possibility. We're headed back to the badlands on September 22nd so we'll see. Or at least I will think about it! I'll let the others know.

I'm going to try to make it out for my first ever 'official' wheeling adventure...now that my JCR front bumper is on it's way. Hopefully I'll get it put on real soon.

I plan on trying to bring the gas grill to have a large cook out Saturday night at the campgrounds.

So bring your own food/drinks, we'll cook the meat for you. This will be on Satruday night after a long day of wheeling. Even if your not camping or you'll be staying in a hotel your more than welcome to join us.

At that time we will be doing some giveaways as well as awarding prizes for some things done during the day.
