Ok i just noticed today when i was looking at the ole' xj that my rear springs are starting to have an s- shape to them. Now i just put on a 3" rough country lift with rear aal and am wanting to lift it a little more here soon. If i get another set of xj leafs to make a bastard pack, will that help out my s-shaped springs i have now? This is on a 91 xj that is just a trail rig. Let me know what you guys think.
The springs that i would be getting to make the bastard pack are out of a 2000 with only 60,000 miles on them.
Thanks, Ben

If you get those leaf packs (I'm assuming they are Kim's factory packs), use the RC AAL and than maybe a factory leaf out of your old packs you should be able to get 3.5-4.5" out of them. Is it the best option? Probally not but it'll last you awhile and most importantly it's cheap and you learn what does/does not work...
Hate to bring this topic back up, but will the 97+ xj leaf springs fit into a 96- xj? My stock ones are trashed and can get a set of the newer leafs but want to make sure they will work if i replace them with my '91 leaf springs.

Yes. All model XJ leaf springs are interchangable.
