4.0L Engine Question

Is there any differences in the 4.0L engine between a 1988 and 1989 Jeep Cherokee? 

I have a shortblock out of 1988 that I want to rebuild and put the head off of my 1989 on it. 

Will they interchange?

No differences and will interchange without issues.
