I think that I heard Nick saying that when he gets back he is going to buy 33's and move these tires to his '70 something Scout.

Well today I took off all the Torx bolts off of the door hinges and replaced them with regular hex head bolts.  Should make making it doorless easier.  Will be cutting the hinges but didn't have enough time to start on that.

I didn't bust any bolts off either!!! headbang.gif

I updated the first post last night on what has been purchased and installed.  The first thing that it needs, is something that is not on the list.  It needs extended brake lines REALLY bad, they are maxed out.   Most of the other big things have already been purchased.  If you would like to donate to the project you still can.  You can go on MotionOffroad.com and either get gift certificates or purchase what ever you would like for it.  Just put in the notes that it is for this build.

The only other stuff that needs purchased is little things like paint and etc.

What length brake lines does it need, I sell parts online also and can supply them myself, I don't need to order from anyone

I don't know how to figure how long the break lines need to be.  It has rough country 3" springs in front with 1.75 or 2" spacer.  In the rear has 4.5 leaf packs that make it closer to 5.5 I would think

Nick is rummored to be back around Thanksgiving.   I have never done body work or paint.  I don't know how much something like that would cost or how much time it would take.  One thing that i will say is that we are completely out of money and I have already invested more then the wife allowed into this build so it just might be something that can't be done unless you have more suggestions.   Sounds awsome and would be great, let me know what you think.

well I have alot of metal working tools, grinders, DA's, angle grinders and pads, as far as cost let me ask the manager from Auto collision center and I will see if they can donate some supplies, after all its for a soldier in IRAQ who is defending our freedom, I am the Judge Advocate for the Disabled American Veterans we might be able to get something done, have the paint and supplies donated? Veterans Day is coming up I will check and let you know
