RE: GLXJ Summer Fest 2008 - July 19th

Well, should definately be there barring something coming up that will not allow. I am going to drive up tomorrow night (Friday) and camp. The only thing still undecided seems whether I am leaving Saturday or Sunday. I picked up some 31s today for cheap with good tread on them and thanks to Adam the truck is pretty well ready to go. I have a few last minute things to get done like the CB install but nothing major. I also have to put in a new radio, my 2.5"in dash LCD burned up ( Cheap piece of ........) well anyway, I need music for the ride down lol. I also have to get my brother and nephew to a notary for the paperwork but that should be quick too. Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun. Again, a huge thanks to you Adam for the help and hardwork and to your understanding wife for the water and putting up with me being there :P

I believe it was an awesome time had for all - not much in the line of "significant damage" to anyones rigs - though a few tweaked body panels thanks to the tubes. I am probably the first one back, and am trying to load up the few pics that I have. Great meeting all of ya...

Caleb and I had a good time too (though he and I both had to catch up on some sleep this afternoon) ! Thanks to everyone being so patient and understanding of an infant in camp and on the trails.

A special thanks to my date.gif wonderful husband date.gif for getting the new HUGE tent to make our stay a little more comfortable. I will go anywhere you want/need me to go... with a few minor accommodations! biggrin.gif

I would have to agree, great weekend. Everyone was nice and the wheeling was a blast. I am very glad I went and was very glad to meet everyone. Went out again today after everyone left and basically let my nephew drive all day until we left. He found a trail we took on Saturday and ran it, did pretty well and it got his blood pumping a few times because of hills. I will definately be going again when I can hopefully with a little better prepared vehicle from what I learned.

Oh, and if I find a sale on rock guards I will let you know Rebecca biggrin
