I am looking for a jeep. I prefer it run and drive but if its a simple fix that can work also. I am in the price range of 500.00. I also have a 75 Ih Scout II to maybe trade also. Thanks Brian __________________

what kind of condition is the scout in? any pics? Course mine would be more then what you are looking for - price wise, but interested in the scout anyways.

ok guys dont flame me lol. I couldnt pass this deal up. I found a 92 explorer for 150.00 runs and drives. Im going to wheel this till get the scout sold and get some more money together for an XJ. __________________

Thats cool that you got a rig to wheel with. Sucks it's no a Jeep, but oh well.

I bought it a couple monthes ago to fix up. I saw it run 5 years ago. The guy i got it from use to drive it around town here and there. The carb needs rebuilt and it might need a starter solenoid. The fuel just poors out of the vent on the top of the carb.Turn the key and nothing happens. It does have power at the starter sol. So i think when i was tinkering with it i burnt the solinoid up. Overall the body is in good shape. There are no holes in the floors. It does have rust in the rockers and quarters. Yes the top comes off. Reason im selling it is i want to toy now, something that runs and drives. Besides i rather have an xj again. Overall for the age it is in good shape. Pretty much get it running and drive it. Its got good tires on it. The sooner i sell it, is the sooner i have an Xj an not have to drive a Ford.
