i do like that trail blazer bumper better then the other c4x4 one. but i really like AJs work. i have his sliders and they are great. best metal work ive seen. i also like the idea that i can make the guard anyway i want it. (anyone have any ideas for guards or prerunner things they liked better?) I really want the diamond plate on top too to use as a step cuz i wanna try to get my brother into jeeps and i think it would make things easier.
Well, I don't like grill guards, brush guards, light guards or whatever you want to call them. So, I am only looking at the bumper part when I give my opinion. And the verdict is... I like the C4x4 bumper better.
PSC bought the old AEV bumper designs. The old AEV bumpers were designed by Steve Hill; who ran BPI.
Steve stopped making bumpers for BPI, AEV stopped producing them. Steve than started making bumpers for MORE and selling his products branded as MORE bumpers (still does).
BPI is actually back in business and selling both winch and non-winch front bumpers again.
So to recap, BPI, AEV, PSC, and MORE front bumpers are all the same. Each has thier "markup" based on how popular the company is; but they are all the same to the best of my knowledge.
Why don't you buy the C4x4 Trailblazer bumper from Motion for $450 without any brush guard on it and than have a local metal shop make you a front guard that you like to your specs and have them weld it on. May be a lot cheaper and exactly what you want.
im thinking that for 490 he can customize the bumper anyway i want (custom prerunner/ diamond plate) and i have already seen his quality of work, so im still leaning AJ a little
