I got center caps with my wheels, They rusted really fast, Crappy chrome im sure. So i took them off last time i rotated my tire's. So im wondering if i could get or find some dust cap's like used on trailer axle's to pop in the center of my front wheels to help keep out dust and dirt. scuff them down and rubberize undercoat em __________________ To build something that can run over the idiot driving 45 in the passing lane ,Now Thats Talent!

ive seen people use country crock tubs (the butter tubs) for them, the guy sprayed them black and put them in. i found it on JF, search country crock mod or something along those lines __________________

Wire wheel (or SOS) them and paint them with an etching primer than shoot them with whatever color you want.

We've tired 2 different brands of center caps ourselves with no luck on either set as they both start to rust shortly after installing them.

Mine rusted out with in a month.( Think wheel shop gave me some old junk ones, "cleaned up") . Anyways I been running no caps for about two years w/ no known problems. __________________ 99 sport. rust bucket, DD, 3 car seats 04 wj (w/3 car seats too) DD duty for the lady
