I forgot I even had these. I have 2 Skyjacker front shocks for the XJ. The number on the box is H7025. They are the hydraulic one's. I believe they are for up to 3" of lift. They have maybe 2-3 thousand miles on them. They are complete with the bushings, and red shock boots.
So these would not work on my XJ with 5.5" of lift? Also I don't know much about shocks at all so them being hydro shocks, what does that mean? They function the same as a normal shock (as in a don't need something else besides the shock to make them function).
If they do I call dibs on them. Have 1 front shock that is messed up.

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.

Nope will not work with that much lift. Hydro is the name Skyjacker gives it's hydraulic shocks. In other words they are not nitrogen charged shocks. IMO a nitrogen charged shock rides MUCH stiffer than any hydraulic shock.
My MJ lift kit should be arriving tomorrow. After I get my front 4.5" springs installed I will let you know. I believe front XJ and MJ shocks are the same, but I want to measure after I have the new springs in first.
