I was working om my xj trying to find the source of a small oil leak I believe i have found it. I believe its coming from the oil pna gasket. I took pictures with my cell phone forgot the digital camera at home. Also the starting issue when the xj it doesn't like to start in the first crank but always starts on the second crank. I check to see if may it was a fuel issue and i have plenty of pressure on the fuel rail. Anyone had this problem before?
Check battery cables are clean and tight. As is conection to starter. Wipe down area where leak is and wait to see where it starts from. Welcome to the leaky six club.
