How-to and suggestions for remote start	Permalink

I am thinking about installing by myself a remote start and possibly an alarm on my 2001 XJ. Does anyone have any experience installing one in this car and any helpful insight? I am pretty mechanically inclined and feel comfortable wiring things up, etc.. Any recommendations on what brand, etc..?? I have a Viper alarm system on mine and love it. It has a remote start as well as the alarm. I didn't install it so I can't help you on that, but the Viper Alarm System itself is nice and I would suggest it to anyone.
