What are these for?

Jeep runs (ran) fine (at the moment waiting for a fuel pump), early crappy ABS long since disabled by POsmile, and these wires don't connect to anything.confuse





I took these pics ages ago, and just am getting to posting them and asking about them.  Just curious.

I could be wrong, but the one that is a male end looks like the plug for you radiator fan.  But like I said that would probably have something to plug into I would hope.

Well, this is really strange, but the efan runs when it gets hot. Previous owner introduced the XJ to some venison, so the radiator electric fan part of the wiring harness could have been damaged and a 'patch' put in, leaving the damages section still in the jeep, not attached to anything.
