Jeep runs (ran) fine (at the moment waiting for a fuel pump), early crappy ABS long since disabled by PO, and these wires don't connect to anything. I could be wrong, but the one that is a male end looks like the plug for you radiator fan. Well, this is really strange, but the efan runs when it gets hot. Previous owner introduced the XJ to some venison, so the radiator electric fan part of the wiring harness could have been damaged and a 'patch' put in, leaving the damages section still in the jeep, not attached to anything.
