Quadratec HD Springs + Coil Spacers

Since my rear leafs are sagging, and my neighbors UpCountry XJ looks so good, I want to mimmick it. I just got new 235 BFGs last year and dont want to go over 1 inch. Anyone with the Quadratec HD springs sag back to stock height or do they stay at one inch? If they sag, will a one inch shackle work for the backs, along with the HD springs? And for the coil spacers, should I go with 3/4 inch, or 1 inch spacers?

Thanks.

i installed the quadratec hd leafs a little over a year ago.. i have about 15k on them and this is where they're sitting..(sorry the pics suck, but its cold, and dark.. lol) i'm running 235/75/15 liberators

they ride really nice as well.. i really like them..

i can get you some more pics tomorrow if you want just let me know what angles you'd like to see.. how i have it now the rear sits a tad higher than the front so they definitely have not sagged much..

A side shot would be good. Thanks for the pics so far. Did you use any spacers for the coils?

Hey Brad, thought you wouldn't lift yours. HE HE. Quadratec springs ride nice and perform offroad great. However they may not get you to a inch. Are you looking to use the HD 7" ones? You may want to use a 3/4 lift greaseable shackle, along with the new spring. With a 1" spacer up front. While your doing so replace factory isolater.
I believe this would get you what your looking for. MotionOffroad may also have something you could use. You may have to call and talk to tech or sales about it . I didnt see anything on their site.

Ya I thought I wasnt gonna lift either, but you know how that goes. Ya the HD Quadratecs are what I was looking at...I may get the 3/4 shackle as well, thanks for the suggestion.

And if I get the 3/4 shackle in the back, what about spacers for the coils? 3/4, or 1 inch?

Go with the 1" and replace rubber isolaters at the same time if needed.
I didn't do so on a 95 I just finished(that needed them) and now have to take the time to take it apart to do so. Lucky I love working on them.

Hey thank you so much HuNtS. Gives me a great visual. Based on your pics, I am looking for a tad higher than what youre running. I think ill still go with a 3/4 shackle and 1 inch spacer along with the Quad HD spring.

Thanks again. Thats a nice XJ too. 279k on a 4cyl is amazing.

yeah, i also forgot to add i have about 400lbs back there with my sound system and tool box, so i'm sure it probably would sit a little higher.. the springs are VERY solid though.. i can barely make them move by just pushing down on the back.

While we're on this, what's the most sag resistant setup anyone has run? Of course most settle after a few weeks, but from then on, how sag resistant is the setup?

I might make my own 3" or so lift out of s10 or dakota springs (using stock XJ main leaf as it's kinda stuck in place with there...) and ZJ coils.  I'd like to have new, but I'm on a budget and there's actual mechanical issues I need to deal with as well, so the budget is tight.

I dont know about break-in sag but payload I'm very impressed with my RE ones.
The first week I had them on I had to pick up two square of shingles. ( six bundles; three bundles to a square) Each bundle weighs 80lbs. 480lbs and it didn't even move them.
A couple weeks ago 12 bags of rock salt 40lbs each. Again no squat. Great springs.
