The way we typically mount them is with a footer plate on each side of the floor pan. The one is larger than the other (aka the underside has a slightly larger footprint). We than run a 2" square tube directly off the frame rail to the underside plate and weld it to them. Bolt the plates together using 4 grade 8 bolts than just tack the plates to the floor plan. So we're basically "sandwiching" the floor plan between the 2 footer plates and attaching them directly to the frame rail the same way a set of sliders would mount.
