This is hilarious. I can't believe that everyone is still trying to figure out if their assumptions are the right ones. I would have thought this would have died about 4-5 posts earlier... haha

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
Is all the banter fixing the problem? Lets call it misintruputation(holy sp) and get on with the trimming how to. Hey let me cut your fenders for ya. I'll make sure they won't ever rub again.LOL

Since it rubs on the fender flare that's on the inside of the wheelwell and towards the rear of the xj, that's gave me the idea that they were installed incorrectly.
I thought that if the LCAs were installed 'upside down' or something the axle would be located slightly rear in the front wheelwell (this is called caster but I digress), and would cause my rubbing situation. Thinking I'm getting a garage heater for Christmas so waiting to do anything about it until then. It's not really a problem unless I'm pulling into a parking space.

I think with a little trimming (or flare removal and see how the sheetmetal is...) they won't rub.
Then I'll try spacers (flares back on so the tires don't look like they're sticking out wayyy far) and then Adam's steering limiter trick with the bolt you remove and I think you add in a couple washers per side and reinstall. I can't seem to find it on the tech page here or in any of my recent posts... hmmm....
