1990 MJ for sale

1990 Jeep Comanche MJ - $3,000 *THE ONLY TRADE I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN IS A 6'X12' ENCLOSED TRAILER*

- 6" Rusty's Lift with new arms, stainless braided brake lines and dropped pitman arm

- 5 speed manual tranny

- Quick disconnect swaybar

- 35"x12.50"x15"  BFG AT's with very little wear

- Flowmaster

- Optima red top battery

- Spare parts: Ford 9" Rear and Dana 44 front both off an early model Bronco, radiator, flywheel, driveshafts, misc.body and interior parts, wheels and tires that fit the Ford axles but they're not pretty

This truck has major potential to someone with more time than I do.  I don't drive this truck much other than during hunting season, but it made the trip here from NY and theres no doubt it could do it again as is.  I need a trailer for work or cash to buy one.  Please don't waste our time with dumb offers..that said. hope I can explain enough to answer your questions in advance-

No, I will not seperate the spare axles from sale (unless you want Jeep without them, I would not be happy with myself if I kept the Jeep and didn't have the axles to swap in the future)

Truck and 4.0 engine have 155k miles.

Body has minor surface rust that could be esily resolved.  Floors are solid and undercarriage is sound (this truck was originally from New York).  Front fenders have been recently trimmed to allow suspension movement without tire rub.  I have a new roll of vinyl edging for the sheet metal also included in the sale.

There is a new clutch and new fuel pump, however the sending unit seems to leak (I will make this repair if necessary to complete sale).

Stock axles need some welding - the rear needs spring perches relocated (previous owner who installed lift overcompensated the angle and it has upward pinion angle causing vibration at certain speeds) and one of the sway bar brackets broke off front axle.  I have all new brackets, just no time or tools to weld them up.

That's about it for the scary stuff, everything else is solid.  If you're still interested you will not be dissapointed, turn key and drive anywhere.
