Well I've got a leak beyond fixing in my steering pump. Been putting it off for quite awhile. Anyways, was looking today online for new pumps to replace it and came across the Super Pump that Quadratec offers. Anyone have any experience with them?
Modified Super Pumps are the ultimate when used with a Super Box. Designed to increase flow rate by 40% at 1400 rpm while providing 1500 psi available pressure. Custom ported housing reduces flow restriction, allowing pump to run stronger and cooler. The Super Pump, when used with the a Super Box, will increase the amount of steering force to your tires by as much as 65%.
I belive they are made by AGR. Anyone know if they are a "bolt-in" or does something need to be modified?
Well I was recently told to stay away from anything AGR makes. I however wasn't given the reason behind the statement.
You can fit a durango one in with a bit of modification. It's a bit more expensive though. I just may go that route. I belive it's 3 turns lock to lock over the 3.5 of our stock one.
I have a pritty detailed write-up I can forward onto you if you'd like.
Did you see Jeepin' Jason( i think...) on NAXJA and his EXCELLENT write up using the Durango box? The price wasn't as bad as I thought. I don't have the link handy, but was posted like in the last 2-3 days! Worth a look before you go buy something.

Thought it was recent, but it may have been because I was doing searches at the time and in my stupor, thought it was current. No, not in a stupor, just alot of coffee!
