Factory lugnuts with soft 8's?	Permalink

Could I use my stock lugnuts with a set of soft 8's, or ANY steel wheel? What does everyone else do? __________________ 2000 Cherokee Sport My Pics and Specs

the only problem i see with factory lugs is that some, not all, have a cheap plated chrome cover that really just causes problems. yours being a newer jeep you probably don't have this problem but I would replace them if they are the cheapos. good ones will be chrome all around, these will probably not be plated on the conic section that goes up against the rim; you should be able to find a seam between the plated cover and the actual lug nut.

Dave is correct the factory lug nuts do have a crappy cap on them, but they will be ok to use for the time being.
