As many of you know, we had a lift party today. Everything went great, aside from Jeff breaking all four upper shock bolts.
Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. Anyone who was involved, feel free to comment and post up any pics you may have taken.
Here's the Jeep pre-lift
And the fun begins...
Jeff and Kim drilling out the broken upper shock bolts.
Adam, trying his hand at the upper shock bolts again.
Here is a pic of the front end after Kim and Ethan installed the new coils.
Here's the Jeep post-lift.
I gained about 2.5" front and 3.25" rear. We will see how it all settles in over the next few hundred miles.
I just want to say thanks to Jeff, Adam, Kim and Ethan for making the trip. If it wasn't for their willingness to help, I would still be fixing the upper shock bolts! You guys are awesome! That is what Jeepin' is all about!

Hey Marc, no problem. Ethan and I had a good time. I've got a couple of pic's, I'll post them up tomorrow.
We left there at 7:45, and got home at 10:20. About 265 miles round trip. We ran thru snow, heavy snow, sleet, freezing rain, and plain 'ol rain on the way home. Had no problems though. It was good to finally get to meet you, and Jeff. BTW, did you get the spacers? I left them just in case you need them. If not, we'll figure something out.
Sorry I havn't gotten on here to post my pics sooner; I had some things I had to take care of between than and now...
Anyways, here are my pics:
Pre-Lift.
Kim (firehawk) working on that stupid upper shock mount bolts that someone just had to break off...
Up on the lift.
Jeff (xjjeepthing) and Marc (01XJ) doing what they did best, NOTHING!....
Marc (01XJ) pretending he knows what he's doing...
Marc (01XJ) and Jeff (xjjeepthing) finishing up the front.
A few post lift shots.
All we heard from Marc (01XJ) the week before was "I didn't get any decals with my new stuff", so I took the liberty to make him this...
And lasty, a couple of group shots. They arn't at all good cause it was to dark and was snowing.
All in all we had a pritty good day. Only a few setbacks, but we managed and it turned out great! Glad we all could get together and get Marc setup with his new lift!
Looks awesome Marc. I wish I could have came it would have been fun. Maybe when someone else is planing something big I can make the trip. Who's garage is that? I need one of those.

I have had 200 pounds of sand in the back all this week. I have also tried to flex it a little bit to get the leafs to settle in.
After 100 miles I am sitting at 2" in the front and 2.5" in the rear with the sand still in the back. I plan on leaving it in there the rest of the week then I will see where I am at.
