a small motor on the right fender well that goes bzzzzzzz when the key is on

sounds more like external  fuel pump to me

the motor is right uner the tank on the sealed cooling system

i still say it sounds like fuel pump...if so  yeah it shouldnt run all the time .for that matter  nothing like that should run all the time ...

it is the ABS pump, my 1990 does the same thing and it also does it every time i hit the brakes, jeep dealerships say it is normal, and they will replace the pump if it ever fails(mine has been replaced 3 times for free) under a lifetime recall
