Just ordered my new tie rod and want to go with heavy duty TRE's. Anyone know who's got the best price (either a local store who would carry them, or online) on the Moog TRE's???

Adam I think any name brand of TRE is alright Moog or TRW.

Well we all know my luck ordering things via Napa lately. The Moog one's are priced compairable to the TRW one's so I figured I"d just order online and be done with so I knew I was getting the correct ones.

I belive Summit carries the Moog line, maybe I'll have to call them up and see if they have what I need in stock....

OK I'VE HAD IT WITH NAPA! Mr. GLOCK SHOULD OF CAME WITH ME I SWEAR!!!

Go in today to ordre some, the guy states 1) We don't carry Moog ones, thats funny your website says you do, and here is the part number. His responce, nope nothing comes up. Ok so than 2) Do you carry the TRW ones? Nope we don't carry those either. Well thats funny (as I pull out the paper printed from Napa Online) it says right here you do. Sorry, we only carry Dana one's.

So I than ask, does any other store carry them? Nope all they carry are the Dana one's he responds. Could you look and see if anyone in Ft. Wayne has them in stock? (by this time I think I'm pissing him off), nope our store dosn't have them, and we'd have to order them. I can't look up to see if another store has them.

This is coming from a guy who said he's worked at Napa for 10 years, and is probally 50ish. I'm done with you guys NAPA!!!

Sorry Jeff, nothing personal, but I've had enough with them here. I had to show them on a daigram what I even wanted, and the guy had no clue what even a drag link was.....

Some of these store only carry the one line and can order the other we happen to carry both . It would'nt be hard to get considering the local Distribution center for NAPA is in Fort Wayne.


As far as brand neither box will say who makes them,one is Master ride Ch****is which is a economy line of made by MOOg for NAPA. The Napa Ch****is Product is the better line made by TRW. Sorry dude but I cant be at all the stores. Just order them off line or I guess if you like I could get them and send them to you.

Well I placed an order this morning online with a company out of CA that said they had them on the shelf. I ended up googling and found a discount code for them for $20, and the guy said he'd ship 2nd day for no extra charge. So I ended up getting them for around $55 to the door. I won't complain about that....

Will let ya know when they come in.
