What Size Muffer Should I buy?

I am looking at building my own Exhaust system and need to know what Size inlet and outet to get. I am thinking of a Flow Pro from Dynomax of a Turbo. The stock size is 2.25 right? I am just looking for a cat back for now and trying to Keep it cheap !!

is it nessary to replace the muffler bearings when you replace the muffler?  i've heard that removing the old muffler destroys the bearings nessasitating new bearings.  is this true or have i been misinformed?

Also, don't go dynomax. Get the Flowmaster 40 series. It's a lot nicer muffler, and more heavy duty so if you do come down on it, you won't be needed a new one right away.

I prefer my Magnaflow over my Flowmaster. Dynomax is a decent choice if you are on a budget.

the smallest one you can find :)

i went with a cherry bomb super turbo II muffler (not a glasspack).  smallest one i could find and so far it seems pretty quiet (which is what i want).  also, dirt cheap at $23.99, so if I rip it off on the trail, no problems buying another
