I figured I'd post this since I Adam was asking about it and it's a good way to get some cheap lift. Its a great write up and tons of pics. I used this with 1.5 lift shackels when I went to 5".

Yeah and for you guys who went to Haspin Brian and Jason both have done this.  I am lookign to do so over the summer

You can also look to the Rocklizard lift setup


It used a donor pack from another XJ same sring rate and about 2.5 inches of lift !!

Actually, Brian and I have a different lift, more the style of the "rocklizard" link above.

Here's the lifts we "made".
Jason (Black XJ)
Rear:
I have 2 extra stock XJ main & 2nd leaves added into my stock pack for 2.5" of lift.
I added an MJ shackle for 1/2" more.
Front:
Grand Cherokee V8 Coils & 1.75" poly spacer

Brian (Bobbed Red XJ)
Rear:
Quadratec HD XJ leaf pack supplemented with the 3 longest stock XJ leaves from another pack nets 3.5"
Front:
3" lift coils
