Front diff breather hose ?

Going to be installing a set of uca's tomorrow, or Tuesday. Might be a stupid question but, what did you do with the breather hose? Did you just zip tie it back to the new control arm?

I never have looked, but where the heck does it go? Is it just up against the firewall? Could I just pull the some not all the slack out of it? Obviously not all the slack since the axle moves up and down. I really don't want to zip tie it back to the control arm.

I zip tied mine to the control arm, its really the best place for it, it normally ends up coming just to the bottom of the master cylinder or close to it. I suppose you could route it elsewhere but im not sure where would be as good as in the engine compartment

I would leave it it the engine compartment, just pull the slack left from taking it off of the control arm.

What would really be cool would be to find a coiled hose set up.

I have seen coiled air hose used, and another fella used stainless steel braided line as his breather tubs, no way they were getting tore up! the coiled air hose is a bit brittle at cold temps and not sturdy enough in my opinion

Good point.  I guess I'll just wait and see when I get the arms mounted.  Might just end up zip tying them back to the arm.
