GLXJ Winter Wheeling Fest - Feb. 24th

GLXJ is hosting it's 1st Annual Winter Wheeling Fest on Satruday Feb. 24th at Haspin Acres in Laurel Indiana.

ALL JEEPS ARE WELCOME!!!

Admission to Haspin Acres is $15 per person. In addition, each person must make a one time purchase of a "Liability Waiver Card" for $1 that is good for 1 year from day purchased. Entry fee allows you to be at the park until 9am the next morning. You can visit Haspin Acres website at http://www.haspinacres.com

 To enter the park you also must sign the waiver form. You can find it HERE.

 Flags are not required, but if you want to run one your more than welcome to. Also PLEASE have some sort of recovery (either front tow hooks, or rear hitch). Also please bring a tow strap (no hooks, looped both ends).

 Why Haspin over the Badlands? Thier are several supporting members that have expressed interest in going, however many of them are stock or lifted less than 3" and have minimal protection (skids, body armor, etc.). I feel that Haspin has more to offer for everyone from mild to wild trails. It not a rough as the Badlands, and Haspin has many "pass arounds" in several spots as well.

 If you plan on attending please let me know for sure so I can get a head count. I will also note that this is open to supporting members as well as non-supporting members. However thier will be several giveaways at this event of items for supporting members only. The giveaways are well worth your member fee's. Additionally, ANY JEEP's ARE ALLOWED TO WHEEL WITH US (even if not a XJ or MJ).

We are planning on meeting at the gate/staging area at 10:00 AM.

We will be on channel 12 if you have a CB or you can call me on my cell at 260-388-9959 if you get lost or can't find us.

We are planning on meeting at the gate/staging area at 10:00 AM.

For those of you coming from the Indy area (myself included) we will meet again at the gas station like we did last time right off of 465. Details to come...

I'm planning on being there but.... We had a line break down at work and it was down for several days. It has put us behind and I'm looking at several 12 hour days this coming week and I can't be sure I won't have to work Saturday.  So I guess you can call me a "maybe".

For those wanting to meet up in Indy and caravan down.

We are meeting at GAS AMERICA at 52 and 465. I belive it is the brookville exit. GAS AMERICA is on the right side of 52. For those of you who have met up before this is the normal spot.

We are meeting at 8:30AM, and will be leaving shortly therafter to make it to Haspin by 10:00AM.

If you are planning on meeting up with us and drive down together PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST so we know who to expect and who to wait on etc. If you want my cell phone number please PM me and I will gladly give it to you.

Looks like a couple of us from Terrain Stompers will be there. We are getting a count now, but it looks like maybe 4 Jeeps. I'll arrange for us to meet inside Haspin at 10AM and hope to meet up with you guys too.

Adam, it looks like the TS folks I though would go are not attending, at lease Jason and Petes and me. But, maybe we will catch you next time. Sorry! Have a great time and post some photos of your new surprise modification.

Sorry Adam the best I can do is still maybe. Ethan wants to come with me, but I might have to work Friday until 1-2 am Saturday morning. We'll just have to see how things shape up.

If I do make it, I will meet you all at Haspin at 10am.
