so why would you need back up lights......people don't really need to know that your backing out of your driveway....lol..I would have just put a red led in that spot insted....

If you're backing up at night a nice, bright set of backup lights help.  Sadly most OEM backup lights are inadequate to see much of what's behind you (and me too) in the dark.

I understand that......i use small driving lamps with a separate switch to light up whats behind me at night......Its just "back up lights" are pretty useless when they are stock....
