screw napa and their u joints..	Permalink

i was driving today, and kinda had a rough start (5 speed) and the rear u joint on the driveshaft broke... taking my pinion yoke with it... arrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... so now i get to look forward to replacing all that crap for the second time on my xj... __________________ 1993 Green xj 4x4 -2.5l -ax5 -chrysler 8.25 -279,000 on the clock and counting 2007 Ninja 650r

Did you buy Napa house brand or name brand? yeah, they were just the regular napa brand.. i was surprised the thing took a chunk of my pinion yoke with it (the little tab that holds the cap on the u joint on the one side) because i got the yoke when i replaced it from the dealership, and it was a spicer.. my driveshaft is pretty beat up after 2 droppings though.. i'm going to have to bend out the loops on the driveshaft so i can get the u joint out and the new one in.. (for the second time.. lol)
