driveshaft ?

alright.. so due to the damage to my driveshaft when it dropped AGAIn, i'm thinking i might need a new one this time.. are the driveshafts on our xj's all pretty much the same length? (for my xj's age at least) is there any difference in the driveshaft other than the slip yoke? like say, could i get a driveshaft from a 1993 xj  with a 4 liter/auto tranny, and whatever transfer case, and just switch out the slip yoke and throw it on mine? i'm really in need of one ASAP!!!

I belive that the driveshaft lenghts are different between the tranny's. So if you have an AW4, you'd need to find one from another AW4 equiped vehical. So to the best of my knowledge, your going to have to find one from an AX5 equiped vehical. The AX15 may work as well. Best thing is to just measure what you currently have and find one the same length.

also, to add to what adam said. i beleive there is a difference in length if you have an 8.25 or D35 under you truck.
