I've had a few PM's about the cookout we are going to have.
1) It will be Saturday night after a day of wheeling. 2) We should have a fire; and we are planning on trying to bring a gas grill as well. 3) Yes, even if you are not going to camp, or are staying at the hotel in Attica you are more than willing to join us for the evening. 4) We (myself and Rebecca) will NOT be providing any food for anyone but ourselves. We'll cook your burgers/hotdogs on the grill if you want, but bring your own food to eat. 5) Yes you can get into the campground where we are going to be having the cookout without paying. Just drive in, nobody will bother you. We should have our new GLXJ banner up, so it shouldn't be to hard to find us. 6) At this time we'll be doing some giveaways if I can get them in time etc. Yes as always it's one of those "you must be present to win" things.
Any other questions feel free to PM me or reply to this thread.
if you guys want to get different sites this time, thats fine. we don't need electric, we got a backup battery that lasts for like 3-4 days. i was thinkin along the fence line or something.
Well i will be hauling the jeep on a buddies enclosed trailer. It has got tools, genereator, air compressor, and some lights in it if someone breaks and we need a quick repair. We are leaving friday night after work so will be there late. That way we don't have to wake up early and drive over there. Will there be room there to park a trailer and truck?
And are we camping at the badlands or one that is down the road a little bit? Trying to figure this all out before we get there.

i really like the idea of being along the fence if everyone else does. i don't really care either way though.
wade, are you trailering and campering and everything-ing (had to throw that in since there was a theme) again? does that mean your dad is coming with again? just curious 'cause last we talked i thought you might be coming alone and driving your rig...

Thats were we were prior (before the last event) and we liked it.
So whoever gets thier first on Friday, try to get a decent spot along the back wooden fenceline (pull in, go to your left).

Yes plenty of room to park a truck/trailer in the campground.
We'll be at the campground at the entrance to the Badlands. Go like your going to the badlands, turn into the badlands drive, and it's half way down the drive on your left.
We'll be to the left along the wooden fenceline (if we can get a spot, don't see why not). I'll be sure to save enough room for you guys for the truck/trailer. We should have the GLXJ banner up, so you can't miss us.
me and my dad are trailering it down like last time. We are most likely leaving friday at noon so we will be there around 4 or 5. if were first we will try to get a bunch of spots along the fence. it shouldnt be that crowded.
So will the banner be at the campgrounds, or in the parking lot? Are we meeting at the campgrounds, or down the hill in the parking lot? And are you wanting everyone there around 10am?
Yup so I can't make this one either. So I guess I will just make the next one. Gives me more time to armour it up, that is the one good thing, can't break it if you don't use it.

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
i was looking forward to trying to get to this one and meet everyone, but i dont think i can make it, work stuff (getting ready to close up for the season and we have Purdue and Ball State coming in to stay)
but on the bright side, by the next one i should have 6.5" of lift, the 8.8" swapped in, tnt longarms, 35s, and possibly 4.88s and lockers
If anyone has any firewood that they'd like to bring, they are highly encouraged to do so!
Saves us from buying over-priced wood at the campground. I'm not going to be able to probally bring any myself this time like I have in the past since I won't make it to Indy to pick any up prior to next weekend.
If you have some wood, PLEASE BRING IT WITH YOU!!!
