Steering Issues

  So some thing is up with my steering on my 1994 I just got.
I turn the wheel alittle and I get no movement in the tires wile driveing but if I move it 2x I get over steering kinda there dosnet seam to be a inbetween.

Any help or ideas would be great! weirdfacebiggrin

I would start by looking at the steeringbox and pitman arm.  Is there any movement in the box before the wheels move?  If not move to the draglink, any movement there, if not check out the tierod ends.  Also look at the bushings in the tracbar.

Check all these points with the tires on the ground by having someone else moving the steering wheel.

I agree with Kim. Find a buddy and turn your wheel and see where the play is at. Than replace the needed parts.

I hope its not the steering box it self that would suck there spendy.
