Rock Sliders

Looking to get some Rock Sliders.  The thing is that they need to have a step on them.  The reason is that Jeanette has trouble getting into the new XJ because of how tall it is. smile  I can't find any that really have a step on them that is really capable of being used as a step.  Didn't know if anyone on here would no of somewhere out there that I could get some.

Are you wanting something like I have on my XJ?

AJ's
JCR
C4X4
Rock Lizard Fab

These all are a quality product with good mounting points. All of them have the protrusion like I have on mine.

JCR is in Kalamazoo and it's worth it to make the drive to pick them up to save on shipping cost.

My question is, is that enough of a step to actually get used, the ones that JCR makes?  I was looking at all of those, but I don't know if they are steps that could actually be used as a step.  Jeanette needs one to actually use.  Maybe it would be better if she just came over and tried your's out...

Andy,
I use Adam's as an actual step. I have no problem getting my foot on there. It does help me get in and out better.

Don't know if that helps or not...

Shorty... evileye

Andy, feel free to stop by anytime and have her check them out. We'll be out of town untill mid next week but you know where it's at and door should be unlocked. Feel free to have her "climb" all over it.

Heh, yeah keys are in it. Thier is a set of 6" Hybrid rear MJ leafs I'm testing out for a company and a XJ D44 in the rear as well. biggrin

Take it for a spin.... that is if you can get it started (needs a CPS), fill up the flat tire, and get it into reverse to back it out.... tongue01.gif

I don't know that they work any better or worse, but I do agree that they look better.  They were the one's that I was leaning towards.
