I just bought a parts XJ Wagoneer, I belive that it has a factory tow package,(hitch, skid plates, tow hooks). It's a 88 4.0 aw4 242. I'm just wondering about the rear end, any help would be appercaited

You probally have the D44 based on it being the waggy and an '88.

Take a look at the diff cover and compair it to these.

The D35 is round, where as the D44 has a "hog head".

Good set of 4 door front doors?

Rear D44?

Front D30 pass-side shaft (should be non-disco since it had a 242)?

Front windsheild trim?
