XJ Rear Coilover Conversions - Now Shipping!!

XJ Rear Coilover Conversions are now shipping!

A coil over conversion for the rear of the vehicle allowing removal of the leaf springs on the Jeep Cherokee XJ. This is accomplished by a new tri-angulated 4 link rear suspension that uses Rock Krawler Racing Development Coil Over Racing Shocks. The 4 link arrangement also utilizes our anti-squat geometry for unparalleled climbing ability. This system gives you the highest ride quality and offroad ability available anywhere for an XJ! All hard parts come with our exclusive abuse proof lifetime guarentee!


Kit comes with rear triangulated four link mounting cradle/axle truss made from 1/4" thick laser cut steel, coil over mounting brackets made from 1/4" thick/laser cut steel for the rear, rear long travel RRD Coil Over Shock Racing Assemblies, rear control arms, new rear brake line, and all hardware and detailed instructions.

Hey I just saw this, how does this effect the on-road handling?  Does it ride the same, or more squirrely?  Just wondering.

We wouldn't say it's more "squirrley", it's just the difference between going from leafs in the rear to a coil/coilover setup.

Depending on how high you set it, you will notice the rear being "flexy" on the road. We recommend to keep it as low as you can for this reason, plus keeping a low COG on the trail is always better.

So to answer your question, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on the street with this setup.
