I need to get this thing going. A collapsed lifter ruined my cam.furious

there are some JYs down here that have a bunch of 4.0L, i can give u the number if u wanna get one pulled

i was hopin someone would have one in a pile of parts in there garage. I can get a new one for under 40 bucks, so don't wanna mess with a jy,, thanks though

230131935020 here is the ebay id for it.. it says '96-'99 but why wouldn't it fit my '88?

i pm'd adam as well.. hopefully that works out.

A High Output (HO) cam will not work on a Renix motor.

If I recally correctly, your running some funky setup in your XJ though arn't you (a different year motor in your '88).

Also, replied to your PM. I don't have one...

No that setup was in the '94 i had. This is a reman renix.. not sure of the exact year.

To many engines.... this is getting confusing.  Just leave the same engine in the same car.  juggle.gif  J/K If I am not mistaken I think that the engine in that one is part mine...  I'm an idiot.  For some reason I was think that we took that one out since you got that thing from me... We really have switched to much stuff on that thing!!!  haha.

He was in INDY and it would have cost me $30 plus a tank of premium. Not worth it for a 150k cam...


So i got one from Advance for $137. Give me a call, Ann and Jon are helping.
