I absolutely, definitely, positively SHOULD be there.
I'm still trying to replace my RMS and oil filter orings. After that I'm putting in a budget lift. Hopefully all this will be done in time. I'm hesitant to run trails on a completely stock setup w/ open diffs.
I'd be leaving around 8am from Indianapolis, putting me there around 10am or a little after. Anyone interested in riding together, or needs a ride, I'm looking to meet up with people and forgoe the solo journey.
Well as of this morning i found out that i will not be able to make this one. Work told me today that i am going out of town for training. Will let everyone know if things change. Hopefully they will.

Well, I wanted to attend this event really bad. But I just have too many loose ends to tie up on the XJ. Waiting on a track bar to come in, need to install my case drop, exhaust, extend my brake line in the rear, finish fabrication on my rock rails, mount up my swing out tire rack, install the trailer hitch, and on and on and on. Just not enuff hours in the day, but it will get there soon. I hope everyone has a great time.
Is anyone coming from MI that would like to caravan down I69? I will be leaving from Ft. Wayne IN prolly so if someone would like to caravan. Or if people would like meet in Indy. I don't care just thought I would get people thinking about Caravaning.

I miss the days that they made toys that could kill a kid.
For those wanting to meet up in the Indy area and caravan down.
We are meeting at GAS AMERICA at 52 and 465. I belive it is the Brookville exit. GAS AMERICA is on the right side of 52. For those of you who have met up before this is the normal spot.
We are meeting at 8:15AM, and will be leaving shortly therafter to make it to Haspin by 10:00AM.
If you are planning on meeting up with us and drive down together PLEASE PM ME so I know who to expect and who to wait on etc. If you want my cell phone number please PM me and I will gladly give it to you.
Ok well to make the Indy meet/caravan we will need to leave Ft. Wayne from 6am. So if someone wants to meet PM me or post on this and we can set a convenient location.

I'm STILL planning on being there but... the front diff is fixed, but there still is a vibration SOMEWHERE, and the dealer is STILL trying to figure it out. So that would be the reason if I'm not able to make it. I still don't have my MT's mounted up either.

None of my business, but, is this AFTER the $900 some that you spent?

Ouch!!!
To answer you're question....yes. The rest is on THEIR dime! There were two bearings in the diff that were bad, why no one can seem to answer, but there is still a vibration. They have switched out my TC with another one, and tried a different front DS. They are going to get back into it Monday.
So I'm STILL driving my little white Chrysler Sebring rental car, which I have not had to pay for since last Thursday.
Even if they get it fixed, I'm not sure if I want to wheel it before I can get a few thousand miles on it. If I HAD to take it back, and it was covered in mud you know they would claim I tore it up, and not warranty anything. But we'll see how it works out.
PS, Just had an idea. I would like to meet up with you all, if I decided not to wheel the Jeep Saturday, would anyone mind if I brought the 4 wheeler down, and hung around with you guys? IF it's not too cold out.
Adam, how many have you got going? We have been wanting a Haspin event, but we don't want to crowd your ride. I think there are 3-4 of us so far from Terrain Stompers who would like to join you, but Haspin can be a real pain for too many Jeeps in one group. Give me a heads up.
Thanks,
Greg Wilson

Greg,
You know how it goes, everyone says they are coming than 1/2 of them show up. I know we'll have at least 4-5 for sure, another 4-5 are probally maybe's. So anywhere from 5-10 probally. 3-4 more from you guys are more than welcome to come. If we have to large of a group we can always split up into 2 groups.
So in a nutshell, you guys are more than welcome to come. We've always had guys say they are coming and than never show up; so I'd assume we'll have 5-7 Jeeps actually show.
Thanks Adam. I'm watching the weather because we were over there between xmas and new years and didn't get any wheeling in cause it was too wet. If we just get a little snow, I'll be more likely to go than if we get a sh!tload of it. I can't speak for ian and scott and their friend though.
I really want to meet you guys so I'll try to make it, if not, we are aiming at May for the Badlands as an Official TS Event. Anyway, thanks!
Greg
