Thats right, Rough Country has finally released it's new XJ Control Arm Drop Bracket Kit.

This kit is used to lower the upper and lower control arm mounting points when the XJ is lifted at least 4.5". Lowering the arms mounting points reduces control arm angles and substantially improves ride quality and handling.

Benefits:
Reduces control arm angle.
Improves ride quality and handling

Notes:
Minor drilling is required.
Must have at least 4.5" suspension installed.

Does it have to be 4.5"? How about 4" lift. I've looked at the RE kit, but thought is was a little steep.

I do not see it being an issue with 4" of lift; it should work fine at that height.

Also, curious as to how much ground clearance you lose with the lower brackets? How thick is the steel they use in the kit?

The drop bracket kit drops your lower control arm 4", so you're going to loose 4" of ground clearance.

They are made of 1/4" metal.

My set is supposed to be here tomorrow. Might try to mount them up this weekend if I don't have to work.
