Whole list of problems...

I am at work so i can't search jeep forums. Don't have time to search here right now either but I figured while I have a moment I coudl ask.

- I'm fat. Stock seat sucks. Need something stronger to hold a big man.
- Center console broke. Also flimsy.
- Power windows/door locks suck. Seem to not be getting enough power to function properly.
- Cruise control works when it wants to. Push the button and its a gamble.

Any insight on any of these would be greatly appreciated.

I only have an answer for three of these.
1.) Get some contact claener and simply try cleaning connections and switches. If this dosen't work you may need new ones. While you have doors apart inspect all window tracks and mechanical lock mecs. Lithium grease works wonders

2.) You can swap your seats out for a set of Grand Cherokee seats. NAXJA had a write up a while back. Also JP mag also has a write up. Check these out for examples.

3.) Depending on the year of your rig. Tuffy Security makes a center councle for pre 97 models.

As for the cruise check the vac. ball behind the bumper. If it's cracked (it's plastic) or if the lines going to them are bad replace it.

I alway's wonderd what that ball was
After i put on my JCR front bumper, I moved it up under the hood, I figured that it might be important

THAT'S WHAT THAT THING IS!!!

I put on my JCR bumper and mounted it back up there but had no clue what it was! I'll bet with my little "excursion" through a mud pit on my way out to my parents might have knocked something loose. I also noticed my horns are quit exposed and I think they're about dead. I need to remount those.

Thanks for all the input guys. I really appreciate it.

I had to ditch my stock horns after mounting my JCR Bumper. I put on a dual horn from Meijers, It worked untill i went through a BIG Water hole

I think I'll grab one at auto zone. Maybe with a Dukes of Hazzard flare to it. LOL!

I just remounted mine (horn & vac ball) inside engine compartment. Still using stock bumper though nothing fancy.
