I know that the XJ oil pressure gauges are funky and 90% of the time not correct. That being said about where are you guys running while driving with your stock 4.0L motors?
Also does your fluctuate (sp?) between when your driving and when your at idel. If so how much?
Also would like to know what viscosity of oil your running.
I am not familar with the newer XJ gauge clusters. Does it go 40/60/80 as far as the marks go? The 60 is just a mark (no numbers) between the 40 and the 80?
I know mine is always low, in fact I was leary on buying it a few years back cause of the reading. usually when I first start it the highest it is will be around 35ish and warm at idle can get below 20lbs. Though it has high miles on it 235xxx, but its just a wheelin rig so I am not too concerned yet.

Mine runs 50 psi at anything over idle. When it is cold I get 60 psi in the winter at start up. At idle I am usually at 30 psi unless it is REALLY hot, and it's been driven for a long time. Then it will be at around 20-30 psi at idle.
I run 10/30 in the winter, and 10/40 in the summer. Nothing but Castrol for me, and the readings don't change any between viscosity.
