We now also have enough money raised for the first tier of the build. I am still discussing with a couple of dealers though before we buy anything though.
This is coming along. Thanks for all the support guys. I know that Nick is going to love this!!!

One thing I think would be neat to do as well is have a GLXJ Build T-Shirt made up for Nick. It will have the GLXJ logo and probally a rendor of his Jeep on the front, and than Sponsor's (companies and individuals) who've been a part of the build on the back.
We have a few options available here.
1) Send it to everyone who's been a part of the build (either by donating money or time in helping) and have them sign it.
2) Have the names printed on the back who's been a part of the build (either by donating money or time in helping).
We'd like to recogonize those who have helped and I think Nick would appriciate as well knowing everyone involved in the project.
Now given having a t-shirt printed on both sides (front and back) is a bit more. But when we think of the cost of shipping the shirt to everyone it may in the long run be cheaper. A hand signed shirt is more personal, however a printed shirt will last longer.
So it's your guys call. What do you think? The cost of the shirt will be done by Rebecca and I. If we ship it from place to place to have it signed you'll be responsiable for the cost of shipping it to the next person.
Something we did in a club a long time ago was had everyone sign a piece of paper and then used that as the template for the back of the shirt. worked great and it looked hand signed, but was very durable. Just a thought....

I know about this build now, and wanted to thank everyone involved in this. I can't even begin to explain how much this means to me. I wish I knew everyone on here better, I met a few of you at the O'Daniels Jeep show last fall. I haven't been able to make an off-road trip yet, unfortunately something always conflicts with it. I really appreciate this and am looking forward to having a more capable jeep. Andy got a hell of a start on it when he owned it, it was my daily driver for a couple years before he had it. I want to be able to contribute and help out as much as I can from over here, so please let me know what I can do.

Ok since we have got some of these parts in now (cross-over steering, vents, headlights, cut fenders, wire off roading lights) I figure that we can start getting to work on this. Does anyone have a preference to when we work on this? I was thinking mid to late Aug. That will give everyone a chance to get time off and stuff.

A weekend would be nice, if i would make it. Don't have much preference as to which one. I'm not even sure i could make it up there. Thats a long way to drive in a day...
